Ophélie Ravonneaux
I want to invite the viewer to reconsider their environment and question their own presence in the world.
My work follows a transdisciplinary approach (photography, painting, printmaking, installation).
From details, fragments, and observations of the industrial landscape where I grew up, I work with the medium best suited to the idea I want to convey.
I live near a petrochemical plant and offer a reinterpretation of these places so that my daily life becomes material for dreaming and imagining another future.
I recompose my environment by questioning the functional nature of this zone.
This landscape, shaped by industry, blends with traces of vegetation, creating a tension zone that I try to reflect in my work.
