Entrance exam for the first year

Admission to the first year is through a competitive exam (in French). All candidates holding or preparing for a French baccalauréat or an equivalent must register exclusively via the Parcoursup platform: www.parcoursup.fr.

Exceptions

Candidates over 18 without a baccalauréat may apply with project approval from ENSAD Dijon’s management.

• Non-scholarship students: 37€
• Scholarship students: 0€

Disability Considerations

If you require accommodations for the exam due to a disability, submit a doctor’s letter during registration via the designated Parcoursup section.

This request must be made during the registration process, and the supporting document should be submitted through the designated section on the Parcoursup platform.

Step 1 – Pre-registration
15.01 → 13.03.2025

On parcoursup.fr
→ If you are in your final year of high school (subject to obtaining the baccalaureate for final admission to the institution)
→ If you hold a baccalaureate or an equivalent foreign diploma

On ensad-dijon.fr
→ If you have interrupted your studies before the baccalaureate but can justify a personal and professional background

Step 2 – Submission of the portfolio and payment of registration fees for the exam
15.01 → 04.04.2025

To be eligible for the exam, the candidate must submit their portfolio (maximum 5MB) online between January 15 and April 4, 2025, on this platform.

The candidate must also, no later than April 4, 2025, pay the registration fee of €37 or submit their 2024-2025 scholarship notification to be exempted.

Step 3 – Exam
12 → 15.05.2025

From April, eligible pre-registered candidates will receive a personal invitation for one of the dates (one-day exams)

Tests: artistic practice and general culture + interview with a jury with presentation of the personal work file
