Marie Kundig
Through photography, video, installation, and writing, I capture troubled landscapes where ecological disaster is always present—indirectly and diffusely.
I explore the different layers of images and visibility to reveal a fragile poetry.
Between vertigo and contemplation, the devices I use engage the viewer in a sensitive wandering, where the image, infused with a haptic dimension, offers as many apparitions to experience as thresholds to cross.
My approach is both an act of resistance and a defense mechanism against the exhaustion of the visible and the ongoing ecological catastrophe.
