My work questions the way of inhabiting the camera as one inhabits a place, a territory or a gesture. The camera becomes a space of presence, where the image is not limited to representing reality, but allows what escapes perception to emerge. My work draws on absence by seeking to give it a perceptible form through presences that go beyond the visible.

I explore the ambivalent and multiple relationships that mourning maintains with places, objects and gestures. Between reappropriation and reproduction, I am interested in this tension where one attempts to preserve a trace while constructing a new relationship with the world. Through a poetic approach, I seek to rethink our relationship with reality by bringing absence and presence into dialogue.
