As part of my research, after several immersions in different medical centers in Dijon, I identified several issues related to well-being in the medical field.
I found that budget constraints were one of the main reasons for disparities between public and private sectors, and that notions of intimacy and well-being were often overlooked in addressing the needs of both patients and caregivers.
My many conversations with users helped me target the spaces and objects on which to focus my intervention.
My goal is to improve spaces of intimacy while considering budget constraints, by making subtle, sensitive, and low-cost interventions on existing objects—for example, to reduce noise pollution.
My intention was to care for these care spaces, making them more welcoming and respectful of everyone’s well-being.
