“What is reality?

Is reality always real, and are images always false or illusory?

Today, photographs are no longer testimonies of reality; images are constantly reproduced and overflowing. These images exist at the boundary between reality and illusion.

In my artistic practice, I borrow images that imitate reality as mimesis.

These images coexist with pre-existing reality. The gap that occurs between the image and reality is used as a device to enter into a recreated universe.”
