Winland Center – Hangzhou, China
This exhibition features young French and Chinese artists trained in all the French national higher art schools.
The artists presented, with varied backgrounds and productions, share a particular attention to the relationships that unite them with their environment, whether anthropogenic or natural. We see a particular sensitivity to the construction of intimacy, the evocation of memories, in the way they look at constructed or living landscapes. Their works speak to us of displacement, nostalgia, blending, encounters, with the other, with elsewhere.
Curated by Amel Nafti and Mathieu Mercier
