Through sustained contact with the outside, I  seek in my practice to bring together within a single visual space different territories: that of the sensory, of science and of the imagination.

I let science expand my vision of reality, I let my imagination disguise science.

With this new knowledge I seek to give temporality, life, the presence of nature a new value. To see how time has infiltrated the earth, how the organic has become fixed in rock, how chance manifests itself in living things.

Thus, through lively drawing, I exhaust scientific imagery, appropriating the forms of the outside and the invisible. These forms multiply and also evolve in painting, appearing and disappearing within the canvas. There we engage in the game, the experience of searching for buried, vanished, recomposed, forgotten and discovered lives.

A degree of mysticism is attached to my work, in its way of searching in everything and everywhere for a form of life, even in the inert and the forgotten. I seek to grasp the mechanisms that create living things, how the elusive forges a landscape. How infinitely small forms govern infinitely large forms, across timescales beyond our understanding.
